After studying at Central St Martins School of Art, Jo Reid went on to train as a make-up artist at the London College of Fashion.
Since graduating she has worked extensively in the fashion and music industry, working with Virgin Records, Shine Magazine, The Pink Ribbon Campaign, London Fashion Week, Toni & Guy Hair Salon and with various
fashion designers and photographers over the years.
Blush was launched in 2001 having found a gap in the market for make-up lessons and makeovers that are affordable, without the pressure to purchase the products used.
Blush is the first make-up consultancy to go to the client whether in the comfort of their own home or in the office. Company magazine featured Blush in May 2004, as a novel way to pamper yourself in your own home and since then London Town.com, the number on website for London, has placed Blush as a permanent feature on the site under the Unique London Style Experiences.
Weddings have become a speciality for Blush over London and the UK, with the Sub Editor of Vogue giving her recommendation after having Jo as
her make-up artist at her own wedding. Jo's reputation as a make-up artist that creates a flawless natural look which is perfect for weddings, has lead to this highly successful element to Blush.
